Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE), a member of the Volvo Group (Volvo), is a leading global supplier of off-highway equipment construction machinery. It offers machinery in North America under Volvo, Terex Trucks and SDLG brand names using dual brand marketing strategies between Volvo and SDLG and Volvo and Terex Trucks. Sales channels between Volvo CE and SDLG remain distinct. The company distributes machinery through 213 dealers with 1,549 locations in 145 countries. Its product lines range from compact to heavy construction and road building equipment that are primarily used in general construction, utility, industrial, civil engineering, highway, infrastructure and aggregate and quarry operations. In the past 10 years the company has delivered approximately 500,000 units of construction machinery. Its largest markets are Asia, Europe, North America, and Latin America. Management announced in January 2017 that it is moving Volvo CEs headquarters to Gothenburg, Sweden from Belgium. The move will be complete in the third quarter of 2017.
